Reinventing Work: London #3

The Reinventing Work movement is made up of local groups who share, learn and practice new ways of working. Our purpose (written in pencil) is to make London a better place to work, by putting humans front and centre of organisational life.

★ This is the third Meetup of Reinventing Work: London ★

We'll be reflecting on the approaches of two companies as they've experimented with reinventing their organisations; one which has been focused on implementing Teal and another more traditional but forward thinking company.
We'll be using Liberating Structures techniques to help the group discuss, reflect and problem solve around the case studies.

To be confirmed (please get in contact if you have a space we can use)

★ Are you wondering if this Meetup is for you? ★

The Reinventing Work movement is aimed at people in organisations that are interested in the future of work, self-organising teams, self-management, emergent hierarchies, participatory change, decentralised leadership, distributed authority, collaboration, new ways of working and organisation design. If you’ve heard of 'Brave New Work' by Aaron Dignan, Frederic Laloux’s book ‘Reinventing Organisations’, the Corporate Rebels blog, or the Leadermorphosis podcast, then this is definitely for you! If you haven’t, here are some links:

• Brave New Work (

• Laloux’s book (

• Corporate Rebels (

• Leadermorphosis (

• The Reinventing Organisations wiki (

Please have a read/listen/browse and if the ideas resonate with you then you’ll fit right in.

This group is for organisations who are already on, or about to begin, a journey reinventing their work. We want this group to be inclusive, so we encourage people who are curious about self-management and progressive ways of working to come along too.

★ The Reinventing Work: London Chapter currently strives to be: ★

Purposeful: Broader than Teal thinking, taking inspiration and evidence from a wide range of places and people

Supportive: To know there are other people who are reinventing work. Provide moral support to each other when things are tough. A safe space in which to work through issues that might be difficult to discuss at work.

Inspirational: share positive and hopeful stories

Diverse and welcoming: wherever people are on their journey, through helping the individual, the team and the organisation become more human-centred.

Critical thinking: call out the bullshit

Practical: provide ‘nickables’, tips and tricks that we can use. Share our own stories, our successes and problems that the group can help solve.
